Dr. Sam Khorrami, Ph.D.
Dr. Khorrami is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in Clinical Psychology, Gerontology, and Addictive Behaviors. He has several academic publications in peer-reviewed journals and has taught several university classes, serving as an Adjunct Professor. Dr. Khorrami has been in private practice for 18 years and was trained at the prestigious Scripps Clinic in San Diego, California. He has served as both a Principle Investigator and Sub Investigator in various clinical trials.

Ongoing Studies
Ocean Medical Research has 3 current clinical trials underway. The first two are Agitated Alzheimer’s Disease studies. We are investigating two different investigational products in the management of patients with an agitated Alzheimer’s Disease diagnosis. The third trial is a Migraine study where we are looking at using a medical device which would prevent patients from actually getting migraines.
ALZHEIMERS
Alzheimer’s disease is a devastating neurodegenerative brain disease. It is progressive in nature meaning that symptoms worsen over time. Family members who live with a loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s disease often observe anger, irritability, and agitation. It becomes so upsetting to the family to see their loved one suffering from mood and personality changes. However, our site can provide hope!
Our 3 current studies are focusing on the agitated aspects of this disease and provide an Investigational Product medication that is believed to calm the agitated component of this disease!
We are currently recruiting participants and their family members. Financial compensation will be provided for participation.
MIGRAINES
Migraines are a type of headache characterized by throbbing (to usually one area) accompanied by sensitivity to light, sound and often can produce nausea, vomiting, dizziness, or lightheadedness. Although migraine headaches fall on a range from mild to debilitating, daily life is almost always impacted by migraines. Many people who suffer from migraines are extremely frustrated by their symptoms.
Many patients who suffer from migraine headaches must take a variety of medications in an attempt to decrease symptoms. We are offering an exciting trial that is investigating THE PREVENTION OF MIGRAINE HEADACHES! For those patients who don’t like taking medications or experiencing medications’ side effects and interaction effects, our study is COMPLETELY MEDICATION FREE!
